On Friday 4th September I went to Sheringham School to celebrate one hundred years of girl guiding.

We made lots of things such as a crown, some Russian dolls, a friendship stick and a paper bird.

For tea we had burgers but there wasn't any pudding or cake; we had hot chocolate though. For breakfast we had chocolate rolls and a croissant, washed down with a nice glass of milk. For Saturday lunch we had a celebration party and had lots of food - sausages, crisps and that sort of stuff.

There were lots of girl guiders from different places, but only five from my group were there.

We watched a movie on Friday to tell us all about 100 years of girl guiding, and we sang camp fire songs. We had a fake camp fire (it had an electric bulb in it). The movie told us all about the brave girls who stood up to Robert Baden-Powell and asked him "Please, something for the girls!"
